Adding Providers To Your Health System

When a provider joins your network, a Client Admin will need to add the provider to your network offices before any users with Office Admin rights can manage the provider's information. If the provider does not already exist in par8o, you'll need to create a brand new provider profile. If the provider does exist in par8o, you'll need to review and edit the profile and add the appropriate offices to the provider's profile.

How to Add a Provider to Your Health System

  1. Go to par8o.com and log in to your Client Admin account.
  2. Click the Add New Provider button at the top-right of your screen.
  3. Type the provider's NPI number in the NPI field.
  4. Click Search.
  5. Click Create New Provider.

    Note: The 'Create New Provider' option only appears if the provider does not already exist in par8o's database. If the provider does exist, you'll see the matching profile(s) and the option to view and edit the provider profiles in order to update information and add them to offices within your health system. If you need the existing provider to appear as employed and within your network (e.g. master group) for reporting purposes, contact par8o support requesting that the provider/NPI is added to your network (master group).

    Note: If the provider already exists in par8o, adding that provider to offices within your health system does not add that provider to your mastergroup.
  6. Complete all available fields. At a minimum, you must complete:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Credential
    • Gender
    • Specialty selection for both your health system and "Default". Default is the name of par8o's general provider database.
    • Offices - This field is a type-ahead search. You should add all offices that the practitioner provides services at.
  7. Click Save Changes.
