New Patient Acceptance Status
You can manage whether or not providers are accepting new patients if you have Office Admin access. As providers may be accepting new patients at one office location but not another, we ask that you manage provider new patient status via the Offices listing.
Providers not accepting new patients will display with a "Not accepting new patients" label when they appear in par8o search results or recommendations, so that existing patients may still be referred as needed.
How to Update a Provider's New Patient Acceptance Status
- Go to Office Admin.
- Click Manage Offices.
- Locate the office where the provider is no longer accepting new patients. Click the gear button under Manage and select Edit New Patient Status.
- Review the provider list and select whether the provider is accepting new patients or not.
- Optional: When you indicate a provider is no longer accepting new patients, you can set an expiration date at which point par8o will automatically flip the provider's status back to Accepting New Patients. Use the calendar tool that appears under Expires (Optional) to select the end date.
- Click Save Changes.
