Early 2020 Update: Auto-Save for Insurance Changes, New Provider Profiles & More!
Spring 2020 brought a lot of unexpected complexity to the healthcare world. The par8o updates this season were focused on increasing self-sufficiency and making the product a little easier to use.
Administrative Updates: Auto-Save for Insurances, Provider Accounts, and Easier Access to Reporting
- Client admins now have the capability to add physician office staff user types through the Office Staff tab.
- Insurance changes will now auto-save. We made some provider insurance acceptance back-end changes to improve performance. Once an insurance plan is selected, you’ll notice a green “saved” label to indicate that the changes have been saved. Similarly, once a plan checkbox is cleared, a “removed” label will appear. When editing insurance participation in bulk, you’ll see a notification that a sync is in progress.
- If your par8o portal has a unique subdomain (e.g. myhealthsystem.par8o.com), notification emails didn’t take you directly to the email matter - whether a report or referral. We’ve updated the emails for our SSO clients to bring you directly to the email content - whether a report or a referral.
- Last but not least, we’ve added a calendar selection tool to the date configuration area for Office Admin and Client Admin reports.
Staff Updates: Start/End Date Filter, Provider Profiles, and New Email Preference Settings
- A filter for start and end date was added to the work queue. Using this filter allows you to view all referrals created within the selected date range.
- A new provider profile page is available for all physician accounts. This page displays all of the provider’s information in one concise page. It includes the provider’s profile photo, name, credential, NPI, gender, email, languages, specialties, offices, staff/office admin, and accepted insurance plans. This allows providers and staff to monitor provider information and make changes when necessary.
- We added an option to turn off all referral email notifications at once and still have the option to select specific email notifications you’d like to receive. This extra customization helps reduce any “noise” in your inbox for emails you weren’t using.
