Types of par8o Accounts

par8o CareCompass has two primary account types - staff and physician. The majority of CareCompass accounts are based on the two staff account types, “Office Staff” and “Master Group Staff”. These base accounts are used by referral staff, call center staff, health system reporting and analytics employees, and upper management to view and manage referrals, office and provider data, staff access as well as create reports.

In some cases, providers may wish to view and manage their own referrals. They are either granted either a “Physician” account or a “Physician/Staff” account, depending on if they wish to manage their own referrals only, or if they need referrals for additional providers in the same office.

How To Choose Between Office Staff and Master Group Staff Account Types

Choosing between the two base staff account types depends on the level of referral access that the staff person needs. To learn more about Master Groups, see this article

  • If your referral staff only need access to referrals sent to specific offices, select “Office Staff”.
  • If your referral staff needs to access referrals for the entire health system, select “Master Group Staff”.
  • If a staff person needs access to all referrals sent to a call center or patient access center, select “Master Group Staff” and choose the appropriate call center designation.

Understanding Admin Authorizations

All CareCompass admin accounts are created first as a staff account. During account creation, you can choose to add various admin authorizations. CareCompass has three types of admin designations: Office Admin, Client Admin - Full Access, and Client Admin - Reporting Only.

Office Admin permissions are only available on Office Staff account types. Client Admin - Full Admin Access and Client Admin - Reporting Only permissions are available for both Office Staff and Master Group Staff account types.

See the chart below for more information about how each account type determines referral access, data management, editing staff accounts, and reporting capabilities.
