'Select Action' options

Options under the Select Action button in the Work Queue change based on the status of the referral and whether you are the receiving or sending office. The following options are available to both sending and receiving offices.

Print Print a copy of the referral.
Export to PDF

Create a PDF of the referral.

Attach Document

Attach any kind of document to a referral.

Archive Move the referral to the referral archive.
Send Note Send a message to the other (sending or receiving) provider.
New Referral Create a new referral for the selected patient.
Finalize Complete and send referrals. Sending offices only
Discard Delete a referral created in error. Sending offices only
Cancel Cancel a referral sent in error. Sending offices only
Reassign Reassign a referral when a receiving office has declined a referral; select a new specialty and/or sub-specialty and/or provider; and/or reassign a referral when the receiving office is not responding. Sending offices only
Contact/Schedule View patient contact information, log contact attempts and log scheduled appointments. Receiving offices only
Request Additional Information Send a note requesting additional information to the sending office and/or request an insurance referral. Receiving offices only
Forward Send the referral to another provider. Receiving offices only
Decline Decline an incoming referral and alert the sending office that they should select a new provider. Receiving offices only
