Searching for Referrals

Once you send a referral, the referral will be listed on the Sent tab in the Work Queue. However, once a referral has been completed, it is automatically moved to the Archive tab after a few days, meaning at times it can be difficult to find previous referrals. 

However, you can quickly bring up a referral by searching for it using the search fields on the left of the work queue. Enter as little information as possible to make sure your search doesn't exclude the referral you are looking for! For example, type only the patient's last name, and leave the other fields blank.

You can also search directly on the Search tab. The Search tab only appears after you have made your first referral search.

If you still can't find the referral, it's possible that -- if you are a receiving office -- the sending office reassigned the referral to another receiving provider, which would mean you would no longer have access to the referral. Otherwise, if you believe you should be able to view a referral and can't find it, contact support by emailing carecompass.support@cloudmed.com.
